The personal data we collect

We collect and process the following:

• Information you provide. When you use our enquiry form we collect your first name, last name, email address and the content of your message.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running properly.

We do not ask for or intentionally collect special category data (such as data about health, ethnicity or political views). Please do not include such information in your enquiry.

How and why we use your data

We use your personal data for the following purposes, each with a lawful basis under UK GDPR:

• To respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it — our legitimate interests in dealing with messages sent to us, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before any potential dealing.
• To operate and secure the website — our legitimate interests in maintaining the proper functioning, performance and security of the site.
• To comply with the law — where we are subject to a legal obligation, for example responding to lawful requests from authorities.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses only what is necessary for it to function. Our main typeface is served directly from our own website. We also load one typeface from Google Fonts, which may process limited technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver it. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics or marketing technologies in future, we will update this policy and, where required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), ask for your consent first.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate the website and communicate with you — such as our website hosting and email providers — who act on our instructions. We may also disclose data where required by law, regulation or to protect our legal rights.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we take steps to ensure your data is protected by an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK law, such as a UK adequacy regulation or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any related follow-up, and to meet any legal or regulatory requirements, after which it is securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access a copy of your personal data; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict or object to our processing; and request portability of data you provided to us. Where our processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
